AWS Business Update
We made a recent business decision to accelerate the AWS migration plan and execute it in a more condensed time frame than we had originally planned.
Analysis of the results of the recent customer survey, and the realisation that the AWS migration project delivers significant benefits, has culminated in a business decision to accelerate the AWS migration plan and execute it in a more condensed time frame than originally planned.
Our mutual customers who have already migrated to the AWS environment are seeing significant benefits. These include:
- 50% – 75% reductions in year-on-year support tickets
- System uptime of 99.99%
- Greater resilience and flexibility
- Increased reporting speed
- Zero replication issues
To deliver and achieve the new timelines, we have now deployed 35 people to the AWS project team to work exclusively on the migration. This means we will now be able to resolve the majority of outstanding tickets as part of the migration onto AWS. Due to reduce resource now available we will only be able to service critical issues and content tickets; any new tickets will be put on hold until the AWS migration project is completed.
