Package tour operators have traditionally sold a combination of self-contracted flights and hotels, but as the travel market has evolved, the lines between agent and tour operator roles have blurred, with both creating and selling their own contracted stock. If you want to create package, but your experience is limited to flight-only, hotel contracting, or a little of both, you need a technology solution to give you a helping hand. iTour Packages does the job for you, enabling you to automatically mix your own stock with third-party stock and providing you with a complete set of tour operator packages that are ready to be sold in-house or distributed elsewhere.
iTour Packages is easy to use: just enter your hotel stock into iTour Hotels and/or your flights into iTour Flights and then select the dynamic packaging suppliers that will complement your offering. For example, you might have excellent hotel coverage in Majorca and want to offer flights too so you can distribute them as a package. iTour Packages will take Traveltek's existing cache of flights to Majorca from various low-cost and charter suppliers and pair up each date with appropriate hotel stays selected from you iTour Hotels stock. If your forte is flights but not hotels, we can automatically combine each of your available flights with hotel stock from your chosen bed bank partners. The package results generated will then be displayed when a search is made on your website, through our API, or when distributed as a flat-file to other third-party sites that feature package holidays such as Expedia.
The package holidays you sell can be booked with ancillaries, sent as a quote from the CRM, managed through the iBOS Back Office and distributed across our platform to other Traveltek customers or third-party agents who wish to implement our API to access your stock. Pricing can be fully controlled across all levels, enabling you to specify prices for individual partners according to the relationship or commercial agreement you have in place with each. And when bookings are made you can manage them in many ways – as individual flight and hotel elements or as a package. This allows your various sales channels to be factored into reporting.
