Traveltek staff, who were exhibiting at the event for the fourth year running, were kept busy throughout the show’s four days. They even managed to sign a new client during the event – Eirad International and Tourism, a leading IATA accredited travel agent based in Saudi Arabia.
Neil Welsh, Head of Sales for the EMEA region, said: “I had met with Eirad a few months prior to the show at their office in Jeddah. After investigating their business, I ran through a custom-built demo with them, highlighting what I thought was the best solution to meet their specific needs.
“As with most clients, I knew they were looking into other providers before making a final decision. So, I was delighted when they appeared on the stand at ATM and asked me to draw up a contract.
“They’re investing in our latest B2C website technology, which features our advanced booking engine and is hosted on out latest NX platform. Our CRM and back-office system, iBos, will also be integrated, giving Eirad a complete solution to manage their business. Recently upgraded with tech enhancements, iSell is more dynamic now that it’s ever been so this will really put Eirad ahead of their competition in Saudi.”
Neil continued: “The deal comes at a really exciting time for us as we’ve recently opened a new office in Dubai and have added two new members of staff to the sales team for the EMEA region. It’s a great project to get under our belts and for them to get involved in too and we’re really looking forward to developing what will hopefully be a long and fruitful partnership.”
